Strangways Falls Stud is a recognisable name in South Australias racing and breeding circles. Group 1 winning thoroughbred Alcopop was a born, raised and trained on this very property, and many other success stories hail back to the rolling hills of Strangways. Jake and Harriet still breed and train a small team of horses here, and the dulcet tones of happy horses can be heard at the tents when the wind is right.

Jake was born here, and knows the land like the back of his hand. He was scaling the steep cliffs of the waterfalls as a child (unadvisable!), and is now passing on this sense of adventure and deep knowledge of and curiosity in the rare local flora and fauna to his three young sons.

Jake and Harriet have poured everything into The Falls. In order to make it as eco friendly, sustainable and carbon neutral as possible they have meticulously curated a luxury accommodation that has very little impact on the environment. It has become a passion project, an extension of their family, and they are so proud to share it with you.
